I am a perfectionist when I have time to be. The many redesigns that my personal branding has gone through over the past 5-6 years is proof of this.

Every few months, I'll glance over my logo on one of my business cards or see it on the site and find a bit I don't like. It'll spiral out of control and out of hand, and I'll end up with an updated look by the time it's over.

It's worth noting that I do this partially as practice for the marathon-style design work that I've been known to get, and as basic design practice. Your own brand is easily the safest place to experiment and explore your own tastes. Also it is so much fun that it should be illegal.
